Why did you choose your industry?I found a problem worth solving and stuck with it.
Who are your typical clients?We are currently primarily working with the US government or quasi-governmental organizations as well as non-profit organizations.
What do you like best about being in this industry?We love to do well while we do good.
What are common problems you see?We see a lot of issues with delivering solutions in challenging/expeditionary environments, be it for the US military or for disaster victims. The typical response is to provide a 3000 year old technology, a stick and cloth (tents) instead of providing dignity and protection at the point of need.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?We always listen first and hear the challenges that keep them up at night. But the main theme to everything we hear is the challenge in responding quickly to a situation. Most agencies/entities are reactive, not anticipatory and that creates a lot of issue. Fail to plan and you plan to fail.

How involved are you in the community?I am always ready to lend a hand and step in where/when needed to make a difference.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Be prepared to be disappointed if you are not patient (which I am not).
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy tracking my car, working out and sip a good bourbon.
