How long have you been in your industry?1 year
Why did you choose your industry?I chose the faith-based apparel industry because it allows me to merge my passion for biblical principles with America’s founding ideals, creating a brand that stands for faith and liberty. This industry is more than just selling clothing—it’s about inspiring and equipping Christian entrepreneurs with the values that shaped our nation. Additionally, I wanted to build something that has a lasting impact beyond commerce.
Who are your typical clients? Our typical clients are faith-driven individuals who deeply value biblical principles and their connection to American liberty. Many are Christian entrepreneurs and business owners who seek apparel that reflects their beliefs while desiring education and resources to help them grow their businesses. We also serve faith-driven patriots who want to make a statement about their values.
What do you like best about being in this industry?Appreciate the deep connections built within the community, as our customers aren’t just buying products; they’re joining a cause and becoming part of something bigger than themselves. The ability to support missions and veterans’ charities through this business model adds another layer of fulfillment, as every sale contributes to a greater purpose.
What are common problems you see?One of the most common problems in the faith-based apparel industry is a lack of originality and depth in branding. Many brands print scripture or patriotic symbols on shirts without a more profound message or mission behind them. The industry needs more leaders committed to quality and mission-driven business practices.
What advice/tips do you have for clients? For Christian entrepreneurs looking to build a faith-driven business, I advise prioritizing excellence in product quality and brand messaging. Your company should reflect your faith in your name and how you operate—with integrity, consistency, and a commitment to adding value to your audience. Be intentional about building a strong community around your brand, as loyalty and engagement are just as important as sales. Also, leverage content marketing and SEO strategies to ensure your brand is visible online and positioned as an authority in your niche.
When is your busy season?spring and fall
What keeps you up at night? What keeps me up at night is ensuring that For Lord & Liberty continues to grow in both impact and profitability without compromising our mission. I constantly think about how to scale effectively while maintaining high standards in product quality, customer experience, and brand integrity.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business? We utilize a multi-faceted marketing approach to grow For Lord & Liberty, focusing heavily on SEO-driven content, social media engagement, collaborations, and email marketing. By creating high-quality blog content and optimizing our website for search engines, we attract organic traffic and establish ourselves as a thought leader in the faith-based business space.
How involved are you in the community?Community involvement is at the heart of For Lord & Liberty. We actively support missionary efforts by donating some of our profits to help spread the gospel worldwide. We also contribute to veterans’ charities, ensuring those who have served our country receive the support they deserve.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I don't have a particular one because there are many.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business? My biggest advice for anyone entering the faith-based apparel business is to be mission-driven and strategic. Passion alone won’t build a sustainable brand—you need a transparent business model, a well-defined audience, and a solid marketing plan. Lastly, stay true to your values and purpose—this industry is about more than just making money; it’s about making an impact.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Spending time with my family
