What is the proudest moment of your leadership career?
One of my proudest moments as a leader was helping a woman attend my event who had never traveled on an airplane or attended an event before. Watching her arrive, feel welcomed, and be embraced by the community meant everything to me. That is what leadership means to me: helping women who have been made to feel like they are nothing recognize that they are already something. Once they begin believing in themselves, everything changes. They find their voice, build their confidence, grow their influence, and become the women they were always meant to be.
If a book was written about you and your life, what would it be about?
A flower growing from the concrete. No soil, just hard cement.
How do you define success?
For me, success is accomplishing the goals you set for yourself. It’s not necessarily about comparing yourself to someone else. It’s about identifying what you want to achieve, putting in the work, and following through. And once you accomplish one goal, you set the next one and keep moving forward.
What are your biggest obstacles and barriers to success?
Marketing.
